'Discovering the Quantum' is part of María Sánchez's experimental poetry series, 'Of Dreams and Other Tales'. In this piece, the artist moves beyond paper to explore the fundamental structure of UX design. Here, the traditional boundaries of verse are reimagined through the lens of information architecture. In this approach, the narrative is treated as a structured environment for viewers to navigate rather than as a static sequence of words.
The audience is positioned as a 'user' undergoing a transition characterized by the bureaucratic language of a tech company. Using satirical elements, the piece mimics the sterile aesthetics of professional onboarding and offboarding to provide a foundation for its metaphysical explorations. However, this corporate humor serves as a Trojan horse for a deeper investigation into our attempts to systematize the human experience. By applying a rigid framework to the vastness of the quantum realm, the artist exposes the absurdity of categorizing the infinite.
