"Mapas hacia ti" is an immersive, transmedia exhibition that blurs the lines between digital painting, drawing, poetry, and generative art. It presents a "subjective cartography," in which visitors step out of their passive role and become travelers exploring the fragmented mind through the metaphor of an archipelago. Nature oscillates between figurative and abstract representations of different psychological spaces.
This initiative is part of the Rizoma Inverso network, curated by La Inversa Gallery. The curatorial approach is based on an autonomous node system that allows artworks to interact and evolve within an ever-growing ecosystem instead of competing against each other. Through a threefold narrative structure centered on the word as the mediator between the conscious and unconscious, María Sánchez invites us to engage in a process of vulnerability and exploration of the "otherness" and "oneself."
