Human Residue Series

Human Residue is a series of seven works that oscillate between reinterpretation and invention. The series draws from historical masterpieces and original paintings. Through this body of work, the artist examines memory as a persistent, material force that lingers, accumulates, and continues to shape humanity's psychic architecture.

The series reflects on our responsibility in shaping society's collective psyche and on how individual and inherited memories contribute to broader patterns of distress that reverberate throughout the world. Human Residue suggests that, even as science and technology advance at an extraordinary pace, psychological and emotional development often remains stalled, fixed at unresolved early stages of human experience.

Tension between progress and self-awareness is explored through fragmentation and restrained color palettes. This series invites viewers to consider what remains when innovation outpaces self-understanding.
